How it works

  1. Prepare your mats

    Stack clean, damaged mats flat on a pallet or in a secure cage.

  2. Let us know

    Email [email protected] with the number of pallets or cages and a clear description of any services beyond standard remanufacturing, such as resizing, RFID installation, or label reapplication.

  3. Send or schedule pickup

    Ship directly to MatWorks, or contact us to arrange pickup. Freight and pickup fees apply.

  4. Back in service

    Mats are processed and shipped back ready for the route, or pickup can be arranged.

Before you ship

  • Mats are clean, dry, and free of grease or oil. A cleaning surcharge applies to soiled mats.
  • Mats are stacked flat on a pallet or in a secure cage.
  • Any resizing, RFID installation, or label reapplication is noted in your email or on the form.
  • Glued borders, patches, and RFID chips are not heat-resistant. They will be removed, or reinstalled on request.
  • Vinyl, rubber scrapers, foam, comfort or anti-fatigue, and molded mats are left off the pallet. They are not repairable.

Is there a minimum order?

One pallet. Send one pallet and judge the work on your own route before you commit any volume.

Which mats qualify?

Remanufacturing is compatible with most fabric-topped, nitrile rubber-backed rental mats. Non-repairable types include vinyl, rubber scrapers, foam, comfort or anti-fatigue mats, and molded mats. We reserve the right to reject mats deemed unsuitable for repair, for example excessive wear, staining, or structural damage.

What happens to RFID chips?

Glued borders, patches, and RFID chips are not heat-resistant and will be removed, or reinstalled on request. RFID installation uses a standard UHF chip.

Can any mat be over-dyed?

Mats are dyed solid black. Over-dyeing is not suitable for red tones, logo mats, or PET (polyethylene terephthalate) mats, and requires a full load of no less than 800 lbs.

What are the payment terms?

Standard payment terms are net 30 days. Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee. Freight charges, inbound and outbound, are additional. All applicable taxes are extra.

Is the work under warranty?

Services are backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty on our repair and remanufacturing process.
